Technical Support to the Doctor
Our orthopedic operating room technicians have over 40 years of combined experience in the field and have been extensively trained on the equipment we offer. They have certificates from the Department of Health, CPR and First Aid certificates, and are registered in the Association of Surgical Technicians of Puerto Rico in the American Society of Orthopedic Professionals and in the National Association of Orthopedic Technologists in the United States. They visit and provide technical support to the doctor during the first surgeries until the doctor and his staff have mastered the equipment and do not require our presence in the operating room.
Fast and Efficient Deliveries
Once a case is authorized, the equipment is immediately delivered. We emphasize delivering the equipment with enough time to be able to go through the sterilization process. Equipment deliveries are made seven days a week from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. For emergencies, the personnel assigned by EOM “On Call” are used.

Educational Support
EOM has an extensive compilation of surgical techniques in electronic format and written documents to provide to doctors or operating room support personnel in the use and management of the equipment.
Training Program for Complete Operating Room Staff
Type of training
Presentation of surgical techniques, instrument handling, training with intervention and manual practice.
Duration
Duration of approximately 3 hours between theoretical lectures and practical training.
Physical facilities
Conference room/laboratory equipped with auger drills, bone models, written and electronic materials, iPads, plasma screen, computer, projectors and cameras.
